We know the technology because we build with it
The six aerial work platforms, our own battery packs, and the EPowerPack form the basis of our specialization. With Van den Berg Staalbouw, we connect energy and control technology to construction and manufacturing, so that the physical integration is also taken into account from the first design.
High voltage and DC-DC charging
We have practical experience with 700 V DC systems and DC-DC charging technology. In doing so, we coordinate voltage levels, charging current, battery management, and control. We design how energy from the available source enters the battery pack and how the various parts of the system are powered.
This way, charging fits the machine, the power supply, and the next moment of use.
Servo control and custom programming
A servo-controlled electric motor can adjust its operation to the required movement and load. We integrate the motor and drive and program the control for the specific application. In our Aichi retrofit, this is linked to the hydraulic work functions.
The focus is on controlled movement, sufficient power during work, and limiting unnecessary drive power during waiting.
Hydraulic optimization
We view the pump, pressure, flow, valves, and the duty cycle as a single entity. Together with hydraulic partners, we determine which adjustments are necessary to ensure the electric drive works well with existing functions.
By improving the energy demand at the function level itself, a better foundation is created for selecting motor power, battery capacity, and charging strategy.
In-house LFP battery packs
We have developed and built LFP battery packs in-house based on purchased cells and components. Our work includes assembly, housing, electrical connections, safety, battery management, and integration with the application.
We assess energy content, charging and discharging power, installation space, temperature, and maintenance together. Even when choosing an existing battery pack, we use this experience to design the integration properly.
Mobile storage, power distribution and control
With our own EPowerPack, we have designed and built a mobile energy system. This brings together storage, power electronics, connections, and control. Our experience with solar power, charging facilities, and power control connects this to the energy supply at a company location.
Engineering up to and including commissioning
We work from construction and schematic to assembly, cabling, programming, and testing. For frames, housings, and mechanical integration, we involve Van den Berg Staalbouw. We coordinate the involved disciplines into a single technical design.
