Our approach: Orange Space
Practical experience as a starting point
During a conversion, we experience how the machine behaves: while waiting, during hydraulic movements, and while charging. We see which settings make a difference in daily use. We use that experience to design a subsequent application as a whole.
Understanding and measuring
We examine the work cycle, energy demand, and technical limitations. A Machine Energy MRI or Building and Organization MRI can be the first step for this. We agree on which data and measurements are necessary for an informed choice.
Reducing losses and designing
We first improve operation and control. Then we determine the appropriate drive, storage, and charging facilities. We compare technical feasibility, investment, maintenance, downtime, and possibilities for later expansion.
Building and commissioning
We bring construction, battery, drive, and control together. Together with Van den Berg Staalbouw, we work out the necessary custom constructions. Engineering, our own programming, manufacturing, and integration are all aligned with a single technical design.
Testing and further development
We evaluate the agreed-upon performance and use the results for further improvement and future projects. A proven initial implementation can form the basis for similar machines.
Retain valuable technology, develop purposefully
We call this our Orange Space approach: preserving valuable technology and specifically developing what makes the work function better. We also document how the chosen modification fits with future expansion, electrification, or replication on other machines.
